Kaelos was not always a man of honor and virtue.

He was once a cold-hearted assassin, willing accept any contract if the pay was good. One day, a man by the name of Hafar offered Kaelos a contract to kill a young boy, only 14 years of age. Hafar was willing to pay 20,000 Kinah for the boy's body. Kaelos decided to accept to contract, but wondered if this was the way he should live his life. Kaelos searched for the boy, continuously pondering the thought of the death of this boy, who is not even a man yet. When at last he found the boy, the boy was terrified. When Kaelos saw the look on his face, he realized that this was not the way he should be living his life.

Kaelos decided to repent by helping anyone and everyone he can with whatever service he could offer. One day, he heard of the war that had begun between the Elyos and Asmodians, and heard of how Asmodians would kill innocent people.
This gave Kaelos the memories of what he had done, and attempted to help with the Asmodian threat.

He had heard of a band of knights who fought the injustice of the Asmodians, and began to seek out this band of warriors. When at last he found them, in which he learned they were named the Knights of the Divine Order, he offered his services to their leader, Knighte Shadowbane, and now stands side by side with him and other knights to fight the injustice of the Asmodae.
