Caelyn, a young ranger who is stubborn and fiercely independent; yet, she’s also loyal and compassionate towards those who have befriended her and gained her trust. Caelyn’s inner warmth extends to all manner of things, even if it is not outwardly shown.

Caelyn was born to a ranger father and an assassin mother who served the church of Aion. They worked as protection for a hidden church that ran a prestigious academy to train priests. Her mother continued to work in the early development of her pregnancy, but in the later months had to stay in the church hospital quarters and be looked after. The day after giving birth her mother had to return to her job when an unexpected ambush was made. No traces of her parents were found after the battle, not even bodies. The church raised her and taught her in the ways of a priest, but there was always an adventurous side of her that would sneak off to practice fighting skills. When she was thirteen years of age she realized that her real calling was in a different class, and made preparations to run away. She was stopped before she could leave, since the headmistress had a feeling she had been growing more restless than usual lately she’d been keeping an eye. The headmistress explained to her all about her parents, proving that the scout class really was more of a natural calling. With this new knowledge on hand she thanked everyone and left the church where she had spent her childhood so that she could begin to train in the ways of a ranger, and pursue further details to her parent’s disappearance.

Now she has mastered the skills of a ranger, ascended to become a Daeva, and joined the Knights of the Divine Order. While many members foster a deep hatred for the Asmodians, Caelyn feels that they have taken some unjustified steps but are not the cause of the war. She understands as a Knight that she will have to fight them, but she hopes to avoid unnecessary conflict with them.
