Faust grew up just outside of the Elyos' city Verteron. His father mysteriously vanished shortly after his birth, never heard from again. Faust, and his three brothers and two sisters, were raised by his single mother whom worked hard to support her large family. One day, a band of Asmodians came near the city to loot and cause trouble. This band of brigands raped and burned the village, killing Faust's mother and all of his brothers and sisters.

Faust was able to escape after watching the brutal murders of his siblings. Escaping the flames of the burning village, he was found by the village elder-an old man experienced in the ways of the Templar. Faust worked under the elder for the rest of his childhood. Instilling the ideas of honor and justice the elder cultivated the young Faust. One day, Faust returned from hunting and found the elder dead, presumably from old age or natural causes.

While Faust was disheartened, he quickly realized it was time to move on and become a man. He buried the old man and went out on his own, remembering all he left behind. Faust journeyed to the capital city of Sanctum for work. He found a great job that tested his strengths and weaknesses.

For many years now, Faust has worked as a hired shield to escort noblemen and common folk through the wildernesses of Atreia. Faust quickly became a well recognized name as more and more people relied upon his strength and cunning to protect the people of Elysea. However, the hired shield job can become quite lonely seeing the clients come and go, nothing to dedicate and invest in. He decided to venture into the sphere of the great war of the Elyos and Asmodian. He condemns the Asmodians for the destruction they have brought upon our world and the savage
murders they committed against his family. After searching for new friends and allies in this excursion, he found the Knights of the Divine Order.

Here, he has found a home and a true brotherhood to belong to. One of Faust's greatest strengths are his loyalty and dedication. Faust seeks to be a shining example in the troubled world of Atreia for all to emulate. He believes he can extend justice through the vehicle of righteousness that is the Knights of the Divine Order. He is a logical thinker; often planning a strategy and bringing real world experience to the table before jumping into fierce battle.

He can be found on the front lines, face to face with the enemy, protecting people he holds dear; something he was not able to do when he was a child.
