Being a dutiful daughter Erienne always followed the path designed by her parents. She thus entered the School of Priests at a young age with the intent of becoming a Healer.

During her training she and a group of students were called to assist in healing a party returning from the Abyss. It was a pivotal moment in her life for not only did she first apprehend better the scope of the conflict taking place but she met a Veteran Chanter that would become her teacher in the School of Priests.

Erienne started to question the role planned for her as a healer due to the tales of battle the Veteran Chanter shared with her. Even though she could see the value of the powerful healing spells of the Priest she felt that such a path was not for her. She wished to be able to aid her fellow brothers and sisters in battle so that they could achieve their maximum potential.

Let someone else do the healing she thought, I'm needed at the front with
my brothers and sister raising their spirits.

Much to her parents chagrin Erienne announced her decision to follow the path of the chanter which she defended was the harmonious joining of the path of the Healer and the Warrior.
