Celbrandir led a for the most part normal Elyos life until he turned fifteen. His father was killed by an Asmodian in battle. His mother had fell to disease before that and Celbrandir was left alone. His vengeance and hatred at the Asmodians grew untill it knew no bounds. His pursuit of his swarn enemies had nearly cost him his life on many occasions. It was not until several years later his life took on a purpose.

His life was saved by a fellow Elyos named Knite Shadowbane, a leader of a small band of Elyos fighters. This action by Knite led Celbrandir to swear loyalty to this man, whether he would have it or not. He has learned much since, becoming a master of ambushes and traps for his enemies. In addition he is arguably the best archer of the small yet tight knit group. He serves primarily as Knite's scout, gathering the crucial information that can turn the tide of a fight.
